BIKE KITCHEN
Educational Repair Service and Used Bike Sales
The Bike Kitchen is an educational space to teach people how to fix their bicycles with the help of staff and volunteer mechanics. Service and use of the space is $10/hour($10 minimum). We offer DIY repair services on Thursday-Sunday.
We also sell a wide variety of parts, accessories, and used bikes. We have both fully refurbished bikes as well as project bikes made possible by donations from the community. We are open for sales Tuesday-Sunday each week!
BIKE EDUCATION
Classroom-Based Road Safety and Mechanics Skills
We have a variety of Bike Education programs for schools including road safety skills (including on-bike education), as well as junior mechanic classes!

BIKE VALET
Free Valet Parking for Bikes at Local Events
Find us every Thursday at the downtown SLO Farmers Market, and every Friday through the Summer at Concerts in the Plaza, plus many more!

CYCLING WITHOUT AGE
Trishaw Rides for Local Seniors
Cycling Without Age (CWA) offers FREE, volunteer-piloted joy rides for seniors throughout the San Luis Obispo area. During these 20-45 minute outings, trained pilots navigate passengers along safe, gentle routes—like protected lanes, paths, and quiet streets—to destinations such as local parks, downtown SLO, and the Cal Poly campus.

KIDICAL MASS
Family-Friendly Group Rides
Kidical Mass is a family-friendly, slow paced bike ride, providing the opportunity for local families to enjoy some fun group riding and teach kids how to ride safely.

TRY-A-BIKE
Low Cost E-Bike Loans
Try-a-Bike is an e-bike lending program that allows you to try before you buy. While we do not sell the e-bikes we loan, our goal is to give you the opportunity make an informed purchase by lending various types of e-bikes for anywhere between 30 minutes and 5 days.

Free Bikes for Those in Need
Ridewell provides SLO County residents who lack reliable transportation with a bike free of charge, giving the gift of mobility to those who need it most.
