Ridewell

RideWell provides bikes (as well as helmets, lights and locks) at no cost to SLO County’s residents in need. Since August of 2016 Bike SLO County has provided people in need with transportation that is sustainable, healthy, fun and inexpensive to maintain.

Where & When

RideWell is administered by appointment only, and safety classes are held at the SLO Bike Kitchen

Requirements

We have very high demand for bikes through RideWell, and therefore require that applicants have very little to no access to regular transportation of any kind.

Additionally, applicants are required to attend a very brief safety training before receiving a bike.
